What trees turn red? How about yellow or orange? Autumn is the perfect time for an inquisitive walk through the woods. Join Berkshire Family Hikes for a morning of exploration along the Old Mill Trail in Dalton. The trail is considered easy – 1.4 miles roundtrip and a relatively flat surface. Kids will be able to choose a few leaves to preserve in beeswax for a fun fall leaf garland! Click here to register.

From the center of Dalton: take Route 8 south to the Hinsdale line. From the town line, continue 4/10 miles to a left on Old Dalton Road. The trailhead parking is the first, immediate left.
